Excellent value
Probably the best pair of work boots I have owned so far. Burly, but not bulky. First steel toe boot I have ever owned that didn't try to rip out my toenails! Excellent fit right out of the box. These boots are sized to accommodate a thick boot sock, so if you wear a 10 1/2 then order that size, not an 11. Also, these boots need a slightly longer break in time. |

The best traction
Like others have said they take time to break-in. Once that's done they are yours.I work in turbine oil and jet fuel and these boots never loose their grip. |

Solid pair of boots
Cant go wrong with these boots, but i found that it took some time to break them in before they started to become comfortable~ Very rugged and great traction while wearing them |

These boots serve as a typical casual wear-with-anything boot. I really like the design, level of comfort, and durability of these boots. I would highly recommend buying these.

This work boot is my personal favorite. Having to wear steel toe and needing an oil resistant sole, these will last about a year in the most abusive environment.

wornout eyelets March 31, 2009

Great boot till bottom three eyelets started to cut strings in several places. Changed strings twice before I knew what the problem was. Had them 1.5 years for 6 days a week. Sole and leather held up. |

Excellent, my second pair. First pair, I built a house in, over four years. They are still wearable but these were on sale. Now, I have a good pair and a dirty jobs pair. Best boot ever, no pain, no break-in, less fatigue.

I ordered these for my grandson and he was so excited to try them for comfort and fit. He looked at me with a big smile and said "perfect". That was all I needed to hear.

I typically have trouble getting a good fit from Timberland, but needed steel toes. These boots are well made, tough and comfortable. I ordered the wide and it's nice and roomy but I probably could have gotten away with a normal width. |

I bought this shoe for my mechanic husband whose feet swell after standing all day-he needed a work shoe that came in wide size. There aren't any stores that carry this brand in a wide size. This brand lasted for two years in oil, grease, and getting everything in the sun dropped on them. We've bought cheaper brands in the past, but this one is the best and lasts!

Feels Great
Posted by: Too-Tall (Mars, PA, USA) Posted on: Sep 23, 2009
as a local truck driver i'm on my feet 10-12 hours a day pushing, pulling, lifting, and unloading heavy goods. my previous workboots, the Timberland Pro Men's Titan 6" Safety Toe Boot, lasted me over a year. Today i received these new pitboss boots; decided to upgrade and im glad i did! putting these boots on felt like a warm glove on a cold day. a perfect fit! i've never had a shoe or boot feel so comfortable from the first time they slip in. Timberland knows quality and comfort. up until a few weeks ago my boots kept me comfortable and going; but i wore out my old titans; time to try to do the same to the pitboss boots ;) ....
Also: the order was fast, simple, and arrived next day, as promised. my new boots arrived looking exactly as they do in the photo. shipment tracking was excellent. would definitely order from endless.com again! |

Great transaction
I recently ordered a new pair of Timerland Pro Work boots. Even though the website said they were a "Special Order" and would take additional time to process, I still received my order within a week of ordering them. I will definitly come back for my next purchase. |

Fantastic company to buy from
The only problem was, the wide width was not lettered. It only says wide. I where a wider size and I wore them to work, so my return may be invalid. The steel toe wore blisters on the sides of my toes. It is great finding so many choices and sizes, but online ordering should include letter width. RE: D, E, EE, EEE, EEEE. I won't be able to wear these. |

Comments about Timberland Pro-Pit Boss 6 Inch ST:
my husband uses it everyday for work. he said it's a sturdy boot, little lesser version of the old kind, where it had all of this quality and it was also waterproof. this one is just water resistant. but overall it's a comfortable shoe, no break in time needed and also lighter in weight. good buy. |

Pit Boss 6" steel toe January 06, 2009
Reviewer: Theron from Bozeman, MT
Shoe Size: Felt true to size
Shoe Width: Felt wider than marked
I bought this boot for all around use, they felt great right out of the box. A bit wide, but not bad enough to return. The soles are terrible for ice and snow, no traction at all! Tread compound is too hard. I guess they'll be good for summer.

Good Boot October 13, 2008
Reviewer: Kevin from Washington
Shoe Size: Felt half size larger than marked
Shoe Width: Felt true to width
After wearing these for 3 weeks I'm pretty happy with them. They feel a little big for their size but not to the point where I needed to return them. They're a very comfortable boot, great support, no sore feet after a long day of standing/working/digging holes. Ankle support is good.

At first I didn't like it, there was some rubbing on my heels, but after a few days that went away. I am pleased thus far with the purchase. I can't complain.

good not great August 26, 2008
Reviewer: Joe from maryland
Shoe Size: Felt true to size
Shoe Width: Felt narrower than marked
This shoe is mostly comfortable, just not as wide as it should be and the steel toe curves in at the sole a little which rubs the big toe during strenuous work.Has great support so feet and heels don't hurt at end of day.

It took a few days for the boot to break in. Good boot for the money |

The most common customer comments were,
- Great support and no sore feet after a full day's use
- Rugged, Sturdy, Burly
- Great traction in oil and dirt, not as good in snow or ice
- Warm boot
- Most reported a great fit right out of the box, but does require some break in time for best comfort
- When the correct width is ordered, the boot will feel roomy and will require a heavy sock. People with a wide foot have found the regular size to be too narrow.
- Excellent arch support
- True to size
- water resistant, not waterproof
- light weight
