What to wear with steel toe dr martens?

with 2 comments

Basically for my college course next year I needed steel toe shoes, so I bought black steel toe dr marten 7 hole boots. They’re basically the same as normally dr marten’s but because of the steel toe the toe of the boot is a bit bulkier. Does anyone have any idea what I could wear with them? Thanks! xxx
Btw I’m a girl :)

To all people who have to wear steel toed boots at their job….?

with 3 comments

What difficulties do you have with your steel toed shoes/boots? More specifically, do they cause you any pain or discomfort, and where do you hurt when you wear them? Any details would be greatly appreciated.
This question is not related to me it is just a survey.

Red Wing Shoes 4473 Boots

with 18 comments

These boots were made for walking. And working. I once dropped a cambro filled with coffee on my foot while doing disaster work and the steel toe protected me well! I’ve worn these puppies a lot, and with a little spit and polish they still look great. They are also Made in America and sold at your local Red Wing Shoes store. Though probably not designed to be a hiking boot, I’ve worn these on day hikes and they’ve always treated my feet well. Don’t know about extended backpacking trips, but I guess that’s another project for another day hhaahaah www.redwingshoes.com

What's the best way to wash steel-toed boots?

with 2 comments

I work 8-10 hours in a hot warehouse, so it’s safe to say my boots soak up a lot of sweat. You know what that leads to, and I doubt my steel-toeds are safe for the washer and dryer. So what’s the best way to wash the sweat and stink out of them?

Caterpillar Work Boots – Get The Right Size Steel Toe Work Boot At Amazon

with one comment

www.PCRoger.com – These Caterpillar Work Boots are right size for me, only because I ordered them on Amazon.com. Local retailers just do not carry the size and selection. Steel toe work boots need to be the right size; do not settle for something you do not want and does not fit just because that is all the store has. Amazon delivered these steel toe mens boots in just 2 days with free shipping.

Lawn Care Business safety discussion. Protective equipment.

with 5 comments

www.startalawncarebusiness.com Hi, this is Keith with www.startalawncarebusiness.com I am overlooking the Tennessee River just outside of beautiful Chattanooga, TN. Today, I am going to discuss a few items you need to operate your lawn care business safely. Footwear You may be tempted to wear a rough pair of sneakers to mow the grass. Dont do that. I recommend a sturdy pair of work boots. You dont necessarily need a steel toe. Some people prefer it. Some people dont. I like a work boot with a high profile and a solid sole. It is vital to keep your feet healthy and protected from rocks and other objects which may strike your foot as you are working. Work socks: A solid pair of work socks. I like to wear hiking socks which wick moisture away from your feet and are comfortable to wear and walk in for long periods of time. Pants: I like to wear shorts when I am giving estimates and doing other non-work activities. They are cool and look professional during the summer. When you are actually working, nothing beats a pair of long work pants. Heavy material protects you from being pelted with rocks from weedeaters and mowers. If you are not going to wear long work pants, at least get a pair of shin guards to protect your legs from rocks and other flying debris. Shirts: Brightly colored shirts give a professional appearance. A short sleeved shirt is great for work but when the sun is shining sometimes you need a long sleeved shirt. Light colored, long-sleeved athletic jerseys keep
