Steel toes shoes and the airport?
I have which are my only pair of shoes, Steel toe!
And i am traveling to Thailand.
Will they let me pass airport security? Or… ?
I really don’t have time to get another pair.
If this helps here are my departures.
From Chicago – O’Hare Intl (ORD)
Chicago, IL
Departs: 10:45 AM
To New Tokyo Intl (Narita) (NRT)
Tokyo, Japan
Arrives: 3:00 PM (next day)
From New Tokyo Intl (Narita) (NRT)
Tokyo, Japan
Departs: 10:50 AM (in 2 days)
To Bangkok Intl (BKK)
Bangkok, Thailand
Arrives: 4:05 PM (in 2 days)
AND BACK
… if anyone has experienced this please state so.

You will be fine – your shoes will be x-rayed when you take them off at ORD.

US Airport security requires that you remove your shoes and put them through the x-ray machine. I don’t know about other countries.

Steel toes are fine. They will be removed and scanned
